Studio test shoot

Here is one of the images from my studio test shoot.. it looks a bit funny on here.. blogger has changed it a bit..

anyway, this is what I want my studio portrait series to look like.. I am very happy with the lighting... may play with it a bit depending on the colouring of the skin of my models..

Final Semester Folios

I've decided to focus on two separate folios this semester... One being studio portraits and the other being environmental portraiture.. My studio folio will be black and white head shot portraits of Indigenous Australians.

I originally got my idea after researching John William Lindt & Paul Folesche's works. Here are two examples of Lindt's works that helped me come up with my idea. Originally I wanted to re-create these types of photographs, using Indigenous people from the community that I live in. My idea has slightly changed and I will be doing tight head shots instead of including half of the body..

FINAL SEMESTER!!!

Yay for me! Finally its my final semester... Cant wait to get stuck into it all again.. Am currently going through my ideas thoroughly and trying to place it all together to make an awesome final folio! have been scouting different locations to shoot and I think I am pretty confident I have all ten.. Just gotta lock in my models.. Cant wait to get started :) Doing a test shoot in a couple of days will post some pics then :-)
